Introduction

So... I've just started my first neocities website to serve as a blog / journal to dump my thoughts. Not long ago, I randomly came across neocities and I told my girlfriend about it as well as shared some cute site designs I found. After coming back home from a summer vacation in France, I started to look for designs and inspiration to start my site.

I'm currently using @11ty for static site generation. While it's quick to set up and works well, it has some quirks that I don't particularly like. I'll stick with it for now, but I'm planning to switch to something else in the future.

Motivation

I decided to start this site as a way to calm my thoughts and share things which might interest others. Although I only expect a handful of visitors I do hope that they at least find some of my future content interesting. As for site growth, I will rely on Neocities discover feature and maybe try to get indexed by small search engines like Wiby.

The content here will mainly be about computer related stuff and an ocasional rambling about life. Hopefully this site will motivate me to start more projects and get them documented here so maybe someone who finds it useful reaches out. If no one ever reads this, at least it will have been useful to practice my writing skills and clear my mind.
